HEET is Now Officially a 501(c)(3)!

After 18 long months of waiting, HEET is now a 501(c)(3) and we have become a federally recognized nonprofit. This means we are now a tax deductible organization and we can also apply for larger grants that require this federally recognized status. HEET's Jason Taylor has helped in this effort enormously by pursuing our 501(c)(3) status, especially with the challenges presented by the federal slowdown.
